“I have been training with Chris Bullock for 9 years, with more than 2 years as an on-line client.  After Lift S&C moved from Bellevue, I tried another gym, and within 8 weeks, my bad shoulder that he had fixed was re-injured, so I called Chris and asked if he’d continue writing programs for me.  While I dearly wish I could still get the training in person, I’ve been very satisfied with the arrangement.  I tell Chris what equipment I have available, what’s happening in my life that’s going to impact my training (injuries, illness, traveling, other sports), and he comes up with a program written for me.  The coaching videos he produces are almost exactly the same as the demonstrations he does in person, including coaching tips on the most common ways people get the drill wrong.  He responds quickly to questions, and if necessary, will do a Facetime consult with you to check your technique or refine his demonstration.  Chris is the best coach I have ever seen, and the fact that I’m still near my peak fitness level without having actually seen him in 2 years attests to that.”

“I have had the privilege of training with Chris for about six months now, and I feel this was the best decision I could have made. While I am seeing great results and changes because of the well thought out and researched training plans, what I really appreciate is the attention to detail and care that Chris takes into every step of the process, and not just with me but with all of his clients. Before getting into any kind of training, he performed a detailed FMS analysis to determine areas I needed to work on and improve. As someone who used to lift weights on my own, this seemed foreign and weird but this was extremely important for him to write up a specific plan for me. Shoulder and back pain that I would experience has been completely eliminated because he was able to see problems with how I would work out or I would tell him where I was experiencing pain or discomfort and he would have an exercise or stretch ready to go right then and there. And the nice thing is, when I am leaving after my workout or coming in after he is finishing up with someone else, I see the same detail and guidance with everyone he is working with. Chris' encouragement and engaging personality make it easy and fun to come work with him, even during the times where the last thing you want to do is exercise. He brings the best out of people, whether it be a one-on-one session or a group of four or five people together. He sends me texts during the day praising me on how hard I had worked that morning or how well I am doing keeping up my food diary. Or even to politely tell me I should reconsider that milkshake next time. He is the kind of person you want to show you can accomplish everything he throws at you, and he revels and shares just as much excitement in your improving results as you do. I am seeing great strides in not only weight loss, but overall strength as well. The exercises are fun, and he takes the time to explain why we are doing this specific exercise and what the benefits are. He will also always go through and show you how they are done properly, and that really shows how much he knows what he is doing and that he does it himself as well. I can't recommend Chris' work enough to anyone who is looking for, or even considering a trainer. You will not only get the results you want, but get to know a truly great person.”

“I have been training with Chris for right at a year now and, honestly, that fact amazes me more than you know. See, before going to see Chris as a trainer, I never took time to invest in getting myself in better shape, nor did I maintain any form of exercise regimen, let alone work out with a personal trainer. Honestly, I sometimes doubted the value of using a trainer, as I didn't think they would truly invest themselves into my goals, nor did I think they could bring out that dedication and passion in me. I thought it might be a waste of time on everyone's part. So, when I initially went to Chris, I figured I would just to give it a try, probably not succeed, then return to my normal life.

However, Chris, and his dedication to his work has completely blown me away and has changed me physically, as well as mentally. He has truly taken a personal and active interest in understanding what my goals are in coming to him (getting healthy and getting in better shape) and has put his all into developing a plan that has helped me to push myself in ways I could never have dreamed of prior to coming to him. He has worked with, and encouraged, me not only in weight training and exercise, but also in developing healthy eating habits and developing a mindset that carries forward outside the gym environment.

While he has demanded and expected that I invest myself into my training, I still 100% credit Chris with being the reason that I have improved my conditioning, health and attitude. As a 30-something year old father of two, I have learned that working out is critical to my health not only for me, but for my kids if I am to be the father I want to be for them. His experience, education and approach to training has benefited me in many ways.

In the beginning, he assessed my condition (which was not good at all) and challenged me, but avoided putting me through so much that I would be turned off. From there, however, he has moved along with me, constantly pushing me to do more, without me ever feeling like he's taking it easy on me. He has helped me progress by constantly adding new mixtures of exercises and increasing the level of challenge, while maintaining a core approach to training.

With Chris training comes first but, acknowledging that, we have a blast during the training time and it's always a great way for me to start my day. Most importantly though, I've seen great results.
